We know you have been exploring lots of the Jamboree sites, but somewhere you may not have visited yet is the Contingent Headquarters (HQ). They are all located along The Mall and are a place where you can go to learn about other Contingents or go to your own to have a break. Your own Contingent HQ can also help you with any questions you may have.

But let’s dive into what each of the HQ's really have to offer.

For the badge collectors, the New South Wales HQ has an extensive badge collection along with the history of Scouts NSW. Be sure to challenge your friends to a game on their mini golf course.

For those who are up for a challenge, Tasmania has a game of find the Tasmanian Tiger between plants from a Fraser Coast nursery. Every day one lucky Scout will win a prize as well.

Whilst you’re in the mood for finding things, why don’t you go ahead and pan for gold in Victoria’s HQ. Or travel to Queensland and you can give yourself a pop of color with some shiny nail polish.

Then when you need to cool down, you can buy yourself a Zooper Dooper icy pole from Western Australia or a slushi from the Australian Capital Territory. While you’re in WA you can learn about one camp as well as testing your knowledge with a puzzle.

Rest your feet by stopping via the Northern Territory HQ for a relax in the bean bags. This was where you could buy the highly sought after Northern Territory Contingent Badge, which is now sold out, so you'll have to try you luck swapping for it.

Finally you can go relax at South Australia’s ‘Quack Shack’ and play an abundance of board games. They even have table tennis!

Between them all you’re sure to find something for everyone in your patrol.

Jamboree can be an exciting and busy time. Make sure you give yourself a chance to slow down and chill out at the HQ's.
